Construction of cotton mills at Spicket Falls.

Primitive Universalist Church was built.

Edward F. Searles was born.

Fire in Exchange Hotel

David Nevins took over old Methuen Company Cotton Mill.

Primitive Universalist church image fixed up as a memorial to the parentsparents of Mrs. Fannie Gleason Tenney (Mrs. Charles H.)

Nevins Family built Memorial Library and Hall.

1888

Civil War Memorial erected.

1891

Mrs. Edward Searles died.

1892

Grey Court built(between Pleasant and East Street) by Charles H. Tenney.
Deer park kept on the grounds.

1895

Resurrection window erected in First Church Congregational as a memorial to Henry C. Nevins by his widow.
